Leaving Santiago we will head to O Cebreiro. This place is the starting point of the path in the lands of Galicia, where according to pilgrims begins the final stretch and the landscape is filled with the charm of green.
We will visit this emblematic town that has always offered rest and refuge for the pilgrim and where they can be seen rebuilt dwellings from medieval times.
Then we move to Samos to see the wonderful Monastery that bears his name. For hundreds of years it has been a point of attention to the pilgrim where many were healed from their physical and spiritual wounds.
Here there will be a guided tour inside. And after this beautiful stop we arrive in Sarria, where in addition to have free time to eat, there is a small guided tour of this town, from which many pilgrims start or take as a starting point at the beginning of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
Now we come to Portomarín, a town also very relevant and with lots of history for the pilgrimage. Our guide will make you participate and will release the history of your location change due to the flooding of the old town and the transfer of its stone church to stone.
At this point, we set the course for Monte do Gozo, the Balcony of the Camino de Santiago. From here you can see the Monumental City with the Cathedral as banner.
In this emblematic enclave, we will have the opportunity to undertake, for whoever wishes, the walking path of the last 5 kilometers to Plaza del Obradoiro, at the gates from the Cathedral, point and end of the Camino.
